Worship life

We believe that God is the audience of our worship.  That it is our duty to create an environment, whether it be through music or media, that will call and challenge people to a deeper level with Christ.  A place where people can worship freely and completely.  We believe that God expects our best.  It is wrong for us to just throw together something without any prayer or preparation and expect God to honor it.  It is also our desire to create a community where musicians and singers can come together and share ideas or sharpen their talents and skills.

Worship unifies.  To worship is to take the eye off of worry, jealousy, strife, anger, and whatever else the world has put on us.  It is to unite with different people around a common Savior, and to find strength together. Philippians 1:27

What to expect?

Media that will make you laugh… think… okay, laugh more than anything, we try not to take ourselves too seriously around here.  Guitar driven music that creates an atmosphere of celebration and freedom.  Yes we believe God enjoys it when His children dance and act foolish around His feet.  Psalm 149:3: “Praise His name with dancing...” Psalm 150:4: “Praise Him with the tambourine and dancing...”

You’ll also experience a time of deep worship.  We believe that it is important for us to have those intimate times of worship.  Times that we pour our heart out to Father God.  Times when we allow God to pour back into us.  We believe that people are different and people will worship differently.  There is no set way of worship here at Life, we just want people to walk away from here knowing that they’ve spent time with God.

How to get involved?

There are different areas to get plugged into.  Life Band is always looking for musicians and singers.  Our media team is always needing people for Media Shout, Camera, and Actors.  Arts/Drama is in need of dancers, artists, and actors.  If you have a creative mind… we want you on this team.

You must be an active part of Life Church.  1 Thessalonians 5:12: “Know those who labour among you...” We want to know that you believe in the vision of Life.  That you are a supporter of Life.  That you are actively pursuing God and His call on your life.

Worship is not something that just happens on Sundays when the music is playing and the media is flashing across the screen.  As Christ followers, “Worship” is part of our everyday lives.  When we’re driving down the road and see a sunset.  When we wake up in the morning and take a deep breath.  When a baby is born.  In all of these we can see God and it should bring us to a moment of worship.
