the Roots

Welcome to “The Roots” page!  We are glad you stopped by and checked us out.  “The Roots” meaning comes from Proverbs 12:12 (The Message) & it reads, “What the wicked construct finally falls into ruin, while the roots of the righteous give life, and more life.” The meaning is simply this: “What the wicked do always ends up in failure and disappointment, but “the roots” of right living continue to give and spread life all around.”

Something we say often around here is “the deeper the roots, the higher the reach.” We want our students to never stop growing in who they are in Christ...we encourage each other to “grow deep.” The trees that are most stable and able to weather even the most violent of storms have their roots firmly planted, grounded and “rooted” deep below the surface. Our question to you is: How deep are your roots?

Students in Middle School (6th-8th grade) meet on Sunday mornings after worship in the main service.  This is a service designed especially for Middle School students.  For more infromation, contact Pastor Jeremy at .

Students meet on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 pm for TRL (The Roots Live).  This service is geared toward all students each week.  It includes a large worship service where we refocus our thoughts on the One who created us with an incredible time of worship, the Word, dramas, sketches, and other Live performances.

On 3rd or 4th Sundays, we offer Triple F (Food, Fun, and Fellowship).  This is a time we hang out together and go catch a movie, play laser tag, play putt-putt, go ice skating, roller skating, or any other activities we do together that will help promote community as a family.  We start Triple F right after AM service.

Finally, we offer Guys and Girls Nite Out.  This is a mentoring environment that focuses on gender specific issues.  Starting time is @ 6 pm and please check the calendar or Outlook (you can download this at bottom of this page) for designated dates and locations.

For more information, contact Pastor Jonathan at .

It’s time to keep Growing Deeper.  Come grow with us.
